Welcome to my academic website! I am Dr. Michelle Gore, a researcher in the Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences at Rice University. My research focuses on understanding the dynamics of climate and weather, particularly the connections between large-scale atmospheric patterns and regional weather phenomena. I leverage a combination of climate models, observational data, and statistical techniques to investigate these relationships, with a particular interest in extreme weather events. My current research explores the intersection of climate extremes and human health. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
